MED-1 (Mobile Emergency Department) is a first-of-its-kind, fully mobile, complete healthcare facility--the most effcient and cost-effective ever produced. With the unprecedented speed, capability and flexibility to start saving lives not within days, not within hours. But within minutes.

Fully capable, fully mobile, comprehensive and state-of-the-art; MED-1's abilities mirror the complex functions of a modern hospital center, including full laboratory, radiology, operative intervention, intensive medical, cardiac and pre/post-operative surgical care, acute emergency medical care, and telemedicine.

Each unit can be custom-configured to meet jurisdictional or operational requirements. A standard MED-1 contains thirteen beds (two surgical/resuscitation beds, four critical care beds, six general emergency beds, and one dental/ear/nose/throat station) with expanded tent capacity for 200 additional patients.

	Rural/Urban Access MED-1 units, with the ability to set up in urban areas and the mobility to reach even the most distant, isolated populations, can be configured for any community need (e.g.,ambulatory surgery, cancer screenings, occupational medicine, preventive medicine, even dental care). With pre-scheduled, periodic tours, a single MED-1 unit can service an entire region—efficiently ensuring the screening and treatment of every underserved resident.
Damaged or Overwhelmed Infrastruture Should fire-, smoke- or water-damage render a local medical facility inoperative, or should patient volume exceed capacity under any circumstance, MED-1 is a vital and instantly deployable safety net. Similarly, when a facility undergoes construction or routine maintenance, MED-1 is primed to disburse fully-functional, provisional care.
	Terrorism In a new age of global warfare, biological and chemical weapons pose a real and ever-present threat to public health. To safeguard patients and staff from contamination, MED-1 units are HEPA filtered to 0.3 microns and readily adaptable to a hospital's infrastructure for maintained sterilization during transfer.
